Kentucky State University alumna named VP of global sustainability at automotive company


A Kentucky State University alumna was recently named as the vice president of global sustainability at a global leader in automotive seating. 

Tammi Dukes, who earned a bachelor’s in business management and a concentration in accounting at Kentucky State, was recently announced as the new vice president at Adient. The company, according to its press release, is a global leader in automotive seating. 

Dukes, according to the release, has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of audit and compliance. Dukes previously held positions at UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust and Henniges Automotive and International Automotive Components Group.
