A Kentucky State University alumnus was recently named the chief diversity officer at Muskegon Community College in Michigan.
Ken James, who earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Kentucky State University, begins his role in the newly created position Sept. 20.
According to a Muskegon Community College news release, James will join the President’s cabinet and implement a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and serve as a catalyst to leverage best practices and resources across campus to promote a culture of inclusion.
