A Kentucky State University professor was recently named to a U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) committee to envision the future of the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR). 

Dr. Scott Wicker, associate professor of chemistry, was named to the committee. 

According to the NSF, the 19-member evaluation committee will consider the effectiveness of current EPSCoR efforts and whether and how the program could do better.
