Kentucky State University alumnus featured on The Culture Effect


A Kentucky State University alumnus was recently featured on an episode of The Culture Effect Podcast by Historically Black Since. 

Kevin R. Cooke Jr., chief FOIA and privacy officer at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, discussed his life and career on the podcast and noted the influence Kentucky State University had on his journey. 

Cooke comes from a long line of Kentucky State graduates and his daughter is a fourth generation HBCU student on his side of the family. Cooke’s wife, Shauna Berry Cooke, is also a Kentucky State graduate.
