Kentucky State University partners with College of DuPage in Illinois for degree pathway


Kentucky State University has entered into a partnership with the College of DuPage in Illinois to provide seamless transfer for its students. 

Students who earn an associate degree at College of DuPage can transfer to Kentucky State to pursue a bachelor’s degree. 

“I am excited about Kentucky State University’s partnership with the College of DuPage,” Jennifer Williams, director of B.R.E.D.S. Office of Enrollment and Scholarships, said. “Students will benefit from applying free of charge, priority application processing,  transferring to Kentucky State knowing how their credits will transfer and what is needed to fulfill their bachelor’s degree requirements and potential academic scholarship opportunities.  I am looking forward to sharing the endless opportunities Kentucky State has to offer that will prepare them for long term success.”  

According to the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education, the College of DuPage is a public community college that enrolls about 23,000 students, with African Americans making up 7 percent of the student body. The College of DuPage is the largest public community college in the state of Illinois and offers associate degrees and technical certifications.
