Four Kentucky State University student-athletes named to Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team

Four Kentucky State University student-athletes were recently selected for the Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth team.

The Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame selected Jaylen Myers, Brett Sylve, DeVon McCoy and Jimmy Edmonds to be members of the 2021 Kentucky Collegiate All Commonwealth Team.

The selection “represents the best college football players that the state of Kentucky has to offer,” Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame Executive Director Frank Minnifield wrote in a news release.

To become a member of the Kentucky Collegiate All-Commonwealth Team, student-athletes must lead their team in the classroom and on the field and be selected by their university.

The four Thorobreds will be recognized during the 2021 Kentucky Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will be televised on WTVQ Channel 36 June 25 at 8 p.m.
