Kentucky State University students win Kentucky Press Association awards
Five Kentucky State University students recently won Kentucky Press Association (KPA) 2020 Excellence in in Newspapers awards. All winners competed in the student publications class 1 division for their work in Thorobred News.
Ma’Rico Holland won third place for best sports story. Donovan Green won second place
for best business/agri-business story in the same division. Josh Wilkerson won third
place for best photo essay. Isaiah Brown won third place for best sports picture.
Kailen Olison won second place for best sports page.
