Kentucky State University President M. Christopher Brown II was recently selected to join the inaugural senior fellow class for the Higher Education Leadership Foundation (H.E.L.F.). 

As a senior fellow, President Brown would be charged with assisting in developing content for digital platforms, participating as faculty at H.E.L.F. institutes and assisting with the annual strategic planning retreat. 

President Brown joins HBCU leaders with experience at Virginia State University, Benedict College, Florida Memorial University, Grambling State University, Southern University System, Texas College, Talladega College, Virginia Union University, Philander Smith College and Wiley College. 

According to the foundation, “(H.E.L.F.) was established in March 2015 to provide bold, engaging, and innovative leadership development and mentoring opportunities for current and aspiring leaders.”
