Kentucky State University professor published in Kentucky Society of Health and Physical Education
A Kentucky State University professor was recently published in Kentucky Society of Health and Physical Education (KY SHAPE).
Dr. Gavin Washington, assistant professor of physical education, published a research article titled “Measuring the Levels of Athletic Identity and Identity Foreclosure of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Student-Athletes” in the Fall 2020 edition of the journal.
As Washington noted in his abstract, “This study was designed to extend the previous investigation of athletic identity and identity foreclosure among college students by focusing on athletes participating at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) level.”
