Kentucky State University President featured panelist on online learning in higher education


Kentucky State University President M. Christopher Brown II is a featured panelist for an upcoming virtual discussion about online learning in higher education. 

Walden University is hosting a series of webinars and a Talks for Good panel in honor of National Distance Learning Week. 

President Brown will join Dr. Ward Ulmer, president of Walden University, and Dr. Irma Beccera, seventh president of Marymount University in Virginia, for the Talks for Good panel entitled “Online Learning in Higher Education.” The panel will be moderated by Elizabeth Leiba, writer, professor and co-host for The EdUp Experience Podcast. 

“Online Learning in Higher Education ” is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 12 from 7-8:30 p.m. ET. The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly changing the way students are learning around the world, especially at U.S. colleges and universities. The panel will discuss the challenges, benefits and future of online learning in higher education.
