Kentucky State University student received scholarship from City of Kankakee

A Kentucky State University student recently received a scholarship during the City of Kankakee’s African-American Leadership Scholarship awards celebration.
Janae Fleming was one of five recipients of the scholarship, which are awarded based on academics, leadership and community involvement.
Fleming will major in business administration with a specialization in accounting.
