Three Kentucky State University graduates commissioned during UK Army ROTC spring ceremony
Three Kentucky State University graduates were commissionees during the UK Army ROTC Spring Commissioning program recently.
Vinsetta Lawthorn Covington, Paola Flores and Jacquelin Zubiate participated in the virtual commissioning program.
Covington is from Birmingham, Alabama and graduates with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and sociology. Covington will attend the basic officer leadership course in Fort Lee, Virginia.
Flores is from San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and graduates with a bachelor’s in biology. Flores will be attending the basic officer leadership course in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Zubiate is from Riverside, California and graduates with a bachelor’s in physical education. Zubiate will be attending the basic officer leadership course in Fort Lee, Virginia.
