Kentucky State University is the host location for the annual meeting of the Kentucky chapter of the American Physiological Society (APS).

The meeting is hosted by the Kentucky State University Office of Academic Affairs and School of Natural Sciences in the Cooperative Extension Building Saturday, March 21 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Dr. James Tidwell, chair of the Division of Aquaculture, is the local guest speaker presenting on current research at Kentucky State.

The Kentucky chapter of APS will provide funding for any Kentucky State students who would like to present their research orally or poster.

The deadline for abstracts submitted for oral presentations are due by Saturday, Feb. 29. Abstracts for poster presentations are due by Monday, March 16.
