Ribbon cutting to highlight new dining locations at Kentucky State University

Kentucky State University will host the grand opening of its new dining locations Jan. 29 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., on the second floor of the Carl M. Hill Student Center.

Kentucky State University President M. Christopher II will conduct a ribbon cutting at noon and invites all to attend.

The retail dining locations, collectively named 86 + Mane and located in the newly renovated area near Underwood Dining Hall, are Starbucks, WOW American Eats and Jump Asian Express.

The grand opening will feature special promotions, giveaways and more.

Starbucks offers espresso, coffee, tea and more and will be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

WOW American Eats offers a variety of snacks (mozzarella sticks, extreme nachos, chili cheese fries), quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, wings, burgers, sides and wraps. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday.

Jump Asian Express offers build-your-own bowl or build-your-own ramen options, with chicken, beef and vegetarian offerings. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday.
