Kentucky State University to host grants development seminar

The Kentucky State University Office of Research and Sponsored Program will host a grants development seminar in collaboration with the National Science Foundation (NSF) Oct. 3.

This workshop will highlight the different directorates at the NSF, what they fund, project types, general facts about the review process and tips for applying.The presenter, Larry Gottlob, Ph.D., is a program director in the Perception, Action, and Cognition program at the NSF. He was a professor in the psychology department at the University of Kentucky from 2001-2019. Gottlob received his Ph.D. from Arizona State University and was a postdoc at the Center for Aging at Duke University. Gottlob has worked in visual attention, learning and memory, mathematical modeling of cognitive processes and cognitive aging. He currently splits his time between Lexington, Kentucky and Alexandria, Virginia.

The seminar will be held at Kentucky State University in the Cooperative Extension Building, room 238, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
