Kentucky State University will comply with the Kentucky Board of Nursing recommendations and actions enacted in its June 26 Board of Directors meeting. The University has been requested to reconcile a student grading discrepancy in the associate degree nursing program, while taking necessary steps, to insure any policy inconsistencies are permanently resolved and do not occur in the future.

President M. Christopher Brown II says protecting the public by ensuring graduates are qualified and prepared to enter the workforce is an institutional priority. Kentucky State University will continue its commitment to excellence to provide a high-quality nursing education to properly prepare its graduates to become integral members of the nursing profession and to serve communities across the globe.
