Kentucky State University students presented research at annual scientific meeting

Two Kentucky State University students recently presented research poster presentations at the 71st-annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences in Baltimore.

Taleb Al Namer presented “Writing Speed and Fluidity of Call in High and Low Complexity Signature Comparisons.”

Chandler Al Namer presented “A Comparison of Gaze Behavior in Sequential Versus Simultaneous Presentation of Signatures in a Handwriting Comparison Task.”

Dr. Mara Merlino, professor of psychology and sociology, presented “Cognitive Human Factors and Forensic Document Examiner Methods and Procedures: Key Results from an International Study of Handwriting Experts.”
