The Kentucky State University National Alumni Association (KSUNAA) recently announced the creation of the 40 Under 40 Society.

The society will recognize Kentucky State University alumni under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement in the legal field, media and arts, entrepreneurship, community service, faith and spirituality, culinary arts and a host of other professions, according to KSUNAA President Richard Graves.

“The awards are given solely on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their professional acumen, ingenuity, hard work and community service, distinguishing them from their counterparts and proving them worthy of this special peer recognition,” Graves said.

The inaugural class will be honored May 8, 2020 with an induction ceremony and gala during the Kentucky State University spring commencement weekend. The KSUNAA will also recognize its inaugural mentor class, comprised of alumni over the age of 40 who are active in giving back to the younger generation of leaders.

Nominations will be available on the KSUNAA website and social media platforms beginning Dec. 6 and will close Jan. 5, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
