Alumnae members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority provided scholarships to celebrate the Alpha Pi chapter's 85th anniversary
The Alpha Pi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta (DST) Sorority celebrated its 85th anniversary during Kentucky State University’s Homecoming. Alumnae members of the organization recognized the continuation of scholarship and service with scholarship donations to multiple areas of the campus.
The alumnae sorority members donated $1500 to the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association (KSUNAA) Permanent Alumni Scholarship (PAS) fund, $1000 to Kentucky State athletic scholarships, $500 to the student pantry and $500 towards DST Alpha Pi chapter community service.
Alumnae member Tava Clay said the collegiate members of Alpha Pi highlighted the weekend activities by winning the Greek step show and claiming the top GPA on campus and in the DST Midwest region.
