
Kentucky State University Women's Conference offers a full slate of events

The 2018 Kentucky State University Women’s Conference, with the theme Sisters Overcoming
Struggle, offers a wide range of events celebrating Women’s History Month.
The conference opens Sunday, March 18 with Refined by Fire at 8 p.m. in the Carl M.
Hill Student Center Ballroom. Refined by Fire is hosted by Apostolic Light House.
Peace of Mind is scheduled for Monday, March 19 at 11 a.m. in the Student Center flex
area. The event is hosted by Mister & Miss Junior 2017-2018 and sponsored by No Limits
Mental Health. Trap Yoga is scheduled for 8 p.m. that day in the Student Center Ballroom.
Retail Junkie is the featured event Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student
Center Ballroom. Kia Baxter is the keynote speaker.
Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice takes place Wednesday, March 21 in the Student Center
flex area from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by QuTie Cosmetics. Brown
Sugar: Natural Healing is scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Student Center Ballroom.
The Women’s History Month Assembly is set for Thursday, March 22 at 11 a.m. in the
Carl H. Smith Auditorium in David H. Bradford Hall. The Electric Lady Award Show,
hosted by KSU Girls Rock, is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for The Hair Show Friday, March 23 in the Student Center Ballroom.
Spa Day with Little Miss KSU is scheduled Saturday, March 24 at noon in room 312 of
the Student Center. Elect Her is set for 3 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Sister
Circle, hosted by It’s CheyNicole, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.
The 2018 Women’s Conference concludes Sunday, March 25 with a Meeting with the Queens
at 2 p.m. in the President’s Dining Room in the Julian M. Carroll Academic Services
Building. Meeting with the Queens is sponsored by Kentucky State University First
Lady Adrienne Brown.
