Kentucky State University Athletics recently announced changes in ticket prices for the upcoming 2017 Thorobreds football season.

“KSU is taking a progressive path towards growth,” Daniel Price, assistant athletic director, said. “We are working to provide fans with a one-of-a-kind experience when they attend our home events, while also providing an affordable experience for the entire family. We are excited about the direction we are heading, and our beloved fans will start noticing a difference.”

Single-game tickets were raised by $5 for both general admission tickets (now $15) and reserved chair back seats (now $20), while children’s tickets remain the same at $5 apiece.

Fans who are interested in season tickets will notice a difference in price as well, but returning to the season ticket package will be a Circle City Classic ticket. Those purchasing general admission season tickets will have a ticket to each of the four home games at Alumni Stadium, along with a $20 ticket to Lucas Oil Field for the Circle City Classic, paying a total of $90. Reserved chair back seat season-ticket holders will also receive a ticket to each home game but will have a $40 ticket for the Circle City Classic, paying a total of $130.

Single-game Homecoming tickets for the Oct. 21 contest against Tuskegee University will not be raised in price for the 2017 season. Tickets will remain at $25 for general admission and $40 for reserved chair back seats.
