Posted on March 21, 2016

The Academic Achievement Scholarship is a non-renewable fund established to assist students who have completed at least one year at Kentucky State University and who have demonstrated academic excellence. This award is intended to provide temporary assistance to encourage and recognize our student achievers who meet the required criteria. Applicants already receiving the Presidential, Service County, Black Achiever, Commonwealth, Excellence, Thorobred or any other institutional merit scholarships are not eligible to apply.

You must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov by April 15 to receive consideration. Students who do not have complete FAFSA information on file at the time of the review process will not be eligible for consideration. Also, applicants must be continuing KSU students with at least 24 earned credit hours and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA by the end of the spring semester 2016.

The deadline to turn in an application is April 29, 2016.
