KSU senior Nicholas Williams will begin a 10-week internship in January with Hurlburt Field Air Force Base in Hurlburt, Fla.

Williams will learn skills managing child and youth facilities while also providing direct care to children and youth.

According to Dr. Herman Walston, a professor in Child Development, interns are on active military installations across the U.S. and around the world with military child and youth programs. Williams may request to extend his internship for up to six months. He will report for orientation training in Arlington, Va.
