Following the success of Kentucky State University’s ongoing 100 Days of Pay It Forward Frankfort campaign, the Lexington Alumni Chapter will launch its own campaign.

Representatives from the Lexington Chapter of the KSU National Alumni Association will be present on campus, at the Carl M. Hill Student Center Plaza, to launch 100 Days of Pay It Forward Lexington Campaign. The launch is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014.

Dr. Shannon Brogan, an associate professor of Speech Communication, is coordinating the university’s Pay It Forward Frankfort campaign with Irma Johnson, KSU’s regional stewardship and community service coordinator. Brogan said the idea was the result of several acts of kindness in her life last year.

“The goal is to bring us together and show the positive in the community,” Brogan said.
