Award-Winning Children's Author To Visit Kentucky State University

Kentucky State University’s School of Education will host award-winning author Jacqueline Woodson for two sessions on Sept. 22 in Bradford Hall’s Carl H. Smith Auditorium.

Woodson, a National Book Award finalist, Coretta Scott King Award winner and Newberry Honor author is known for her books for children and teens, including Hush, The Other Side, Feathers, Miracle’s Boys and Each Kindness.

The event is open to the public.

The first presentation is for elementary school students and will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. The second presentation is for middle school students and will begin at 11:45 a.m.
