Bio:

Dr. Hayden: Expert in Criminal Justice and Policy

Dr. Hayden is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice in the School of Criminal Justice and Government Relations. He holds a Ph.D. in Social Work with a concentration in Juvenile Justice from the University of Louisville, and master's degrees from both Eastern Kentucky University (Criminal Justice) and the University of Kentucky (Social Work). His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Kentucky State University.

Dr. Hayden's research focuses on contemporary law enforcement issues, juvenile offenders, and program evaluation. His scholarly work has been published in professional journals and presented at national conferences. He is a co-editor for the Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture and serves as a peer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Dr. Hayden is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
