About Dr. Tsegaye
An Environmental Soil Physicist by training, Teferi D. Tsegaye is a leader in teaching, research, and outreach activities. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Oklahoma State University and Ph.D. from University of Maryland.
Prior to becoming the Dean of Kentucky State University’s College of Agriculture, Food Science & Sustainable Systems and Director of Land Grant Programs, Dr. Tsegaye was a full professor, a center director and a department head at Alabama A&M University.
Dr. Tsegaye is a recipient of several awards including: Fellow American Society of Agronomy, Fellow Soil Science Society of America, Fellow Food System leadership Institute, and B. D. Mayberry Young Scientist Award. |
