KSU 2012 graduates interested in the Graduate Incentive Program (GIP) must ensure that they have completed and submitted the appropriate degree application, prior to consideration for the program. The GIP provides tuition and fee stipends for graduate study at KSU to a limited number of graduating seniors.
The Kentucky State University Office of Enrollment Management is pleased to announce the Thorobred New Student Orientation Sessions for Fall 2013, which will occur on the following dates:
Mandatory Thorobred New Student Orientation Summer Sessions:
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2013 or
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013
Sessions are mandatory for all first-time Thorobreds, and prospective students should visit the Thorobred NSO site from the
NSO link that appears in the menu to the immediate left,select a session, and register online.
Housing contracts are now available in all KSU residence halls for continuing Thorobreds. To avoid paying a housing deposit, the contract must be completed and returned to the housing office, Academic Services Building, room 317, by July 1.
Health Insurance is no longer mandatory for students. Kentucky State University provides information to students seeking Health Insurance. For assistance, please contact the Betty White Health Center at 502.597.6271.
