What Is Academic Probation?
Academic probation is when a student’s cumulative GPA falls below a 2.0. Once on probation if a student does not maintain a semester GPA of 2.0 the student will be placed on academic suspension. To ensure that students don’t move to suspension, C.A.P.S. assists probation students through an Academic Success Plan, which helps with several things such as improving study habits, communication with academic resources, and time management.
