Student Engagement and Leadership Development

The Office of Student Engagement and Leadership Development serves the continually evolving needs of our students, and works with students during every phase of their college experience, from their shared move in day to first-year orientation sessions and the leadership training that will prepare them for a lifetime of success. The office strives for a healthy and safe environment, working towards an equitable and accepting culture of respect while providing academic support and encouraging the personal development of the student body.


In an effort to enhance the missions of the University and the Division of Student Affairs, the Student Engagement and Leadership Development unit partners with the University and surrounding communities to create a supportive and challenging environment for all students that provides opportunities for engagement and leadership development.  Through the provision of high quality programs and services in areas of health education, career development, student life, residence life, and judicial affairs, Student Engagement and Leadership Development promotes celebrates differences, lifelong learning, and promotes global citizenship.
