Thank you for visiting the housing webpage. We believe this correspondence will assist in resolving your issue. We appreciate your patience as our staff work through numerous calls and emails. Whether you are requesting a building change, a room change, or requesting a specific roommate, we will attempt to honor your request within our capacity.

Like you, we are very excited to open our new residence hall for the fall semester. The 400+ bed facility is massive. We wish every student could be housed in the space. Unfortunately, that cannot happen. We simply don’t have the capacity to meet the overwhelming demand for space in the new hall.

We do not have established eligibility requirements (e.g. classification, GPA, etc.) for the new hall. A living-learning workgroup is convening this fall to set forth guidelines and eligibility for the space for the next academic year.

In an effort to be as accommodating as possible, we are opening a waitlist for the new hall in the event of an opening. Please complete the link here to request a building change, room change, request a roommate or to be placed on the waitlist for the new hall. We will work through the requests and notify you of any changes by the end of the week. If space in the new hall becomes available, we will reach out to those on the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.
