Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni: It is with deep sadness and regret that I announce the death of a pillar of Kentucky State University’s (KSU) history, Mr. Brooks Giles. He served KSU tirelessly for nearly 30 years. Mr. Giles was 86. In 1958, the Hickory, North Carolina, native joined the faculty of KSU as an instructor of Industrial Arts.
