Bio:

Dr. Grimes serves as the Lead Scientist for the Nutrition and Cancer Laboratory.  His research focuses on the relationship between nutrition and cancer with regards to metabolic activity and the effects of oxidative stress.  In addition, Dr. Grimes is seeking to improve the efficacy of radiation therapy with the implementation of non-chemotherapeutic modalities.  Finally, Dr. Grimes’ research extends to the public perceptions of nutrition upon the incidence of chronic disease, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and other conditions.
