October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global effort to help everyone stay safe and protected whenever and however you connect. The overarching theme for the month is, ‘Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.’ and Kentucky State University is proud to be a champion and support this online safety and education initiative this October.

The cybersecurity and digital privacy of our employees and customers is important. Throughout the month of October, Information Technology in collaboration with the School of STEM and Cerdent will host the following cybersecurity activities:

Virtual Cybersecurity Training:

All members of our campus community are responsible for doing their part in helping to keep KSU secure. So #BeCyberSmart by completing mandatory online cybersecurity training via KSU’s Vector Training portal.

Click here for the training portal. You will log in using your KSU email address and the password you set up for the training portal. If you have forgotten the password to the training portal, Click Forgot Login and password reset instructions will be emailed to you. The training must be completed by October 31, 2021.

Cybersecurity Resources Provided:

  • Weekly Cybersecurity tips and basic steps on online safety and security
  • Review IT security policies available on Kentucky State University’s website
