Why Kentucky State?
It’s funny how the universe works; I initially thought that I would graduate from the institution that I started at - Michigan State University. When I made the decision to transfer to Kentucky State University my junior year, it just felt right. I could have gone anywhere I wanted, but I chose Kentucky State because God led me here.
What is your major and why did you choose this area of study?
My major is pre-medicine. I chose this area of study because I knew that I wanted to help people on a larger scale, a decision I made when I was 11 years old.
Who inspires you and why?
My mother is a major inspiration in my life. But, I honestly inspire myself because I can’t expect anyone else to believe in me if I can’t see it for myself.
What do you plan to do when you graduate?
After I graduate, I plan to enroll in medical school to pursue a degree in psychiatry.
Words to live by: “What is meant for you will always be yours, for it is already written.”
