Thorobred Print and Post

Dear KSU Students,

We’re proud to introduce your new campus post office experience…Thorobred Print and Post inside the Student Center will open on Monday, April 15. Thorobred Print and Post showcases state-of-the-art technology, processes and design. At Thorobred Print and Post, you will receive personal service for all your letters and packages.

Why did KSU make a change?

Smaller lines, shorter wait times for packages! As low as two minutes or less on other campuses this size!

No mailbox keys or combinations to lose or forget…all you need is your KSU Student Card!

Thorobred Print and Post now accepts credit, debit and the KSU Student Card!!

Email notification when your mail or package is ready for pick up! No email = nothing to pick up = less time wasted

What else do you need to know?

Mail and packages can be picked up anytime Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

All students who live on campus will be assigned a mailbox number. Your mailbox number will be given to you the first time that you visit the Thorobred Print and Post.

Please ensure your mailbox number is on ALL incoming mail or packages….so tell your family, friends and make sure your online orders reflect the following address:

<Full (Formal) Name of Student>

Kentucky State University

Box XXXX

400 East Main Street

Frankfort, KY 40601

Your mail will only be delivered to Thorobred Print and Post.  Mail will NOT be delivered to your dorm room or other campus addresses

Thorobred Print and Post will email you when mail or a package is waiting for you…stop by anytime we’re open.

We have a limit of 70 lbs and 108” (girth and length combined). Let us know in advance for larger items.

Any United States Postal Service (USPS) mail or package received for students who  do not live on campus will be stamped “return to sender.” Therefore, students who do not live on campus should either keep their USPS mail/USPS packages going to their home address or make certain family/friends/businesses have their current mailing address where they are living while attending KSU (i.e., their non-campus address).

Thorobred Print and Post is also more than just a post office – other services include parcel shipping (USPS, FedEx and UPS).  Coming soon – full color and black and white printing services will be available in July 2019!

We made these changes for you! Improving your experience is our #1 focus!
