KAHO & this year's RA conference host school, KSU, highly encourages all types & sizes of Kentucky schools to send a delegation.
• When in doubt, let KSU know how we can help. KSU’s Residence Life takes seriously its commitment to welcome every single KRAC conference attendee to the best of our abilities. If we can assist in any way, please don't hesitate to contact Vatreisha Nyemba, KRAC Conference Chair, at vatreisha.nyemba@kysu.edu or 502-597-6096.
• Size truly does not matter! If you can send only a couple delegates great! If you can send too many to count great!
• First-time attendees and regular attendees highly encouraged! Whether your school sends a delegation every year or your school occasionally sends a few delegates or maybe you are part of your school's very first KRAC delegation all are welcome and will be welcomed at the conference.
• Ideally, a school's delegation advisor(s) will begin planning for conference attendance several months prior to the conference.
• This is necessary to ensure that deadlines are met related to conference registration, lodging & educational session proposals.
• It is often beneficial to meet with the delegation of RAs at least a couple times prior to departing for the conference.
• Ideally, these meetings will occur the 3-4 weeks prior to the actual conference. This will allow the advisor(s) and RA delegates plenty of time to explore multiple aspects of logistical planning:
