At Kentucky State University, a student's experience extends beyond the classroom. The diversity of campus activities affords opportunities for all students to become involved in campus life.

Students are encouraged and expected to be involved in activities. They are encouraged to benefit from the personal growth that results from participation in University life.  The array of after-class activities at KSU includes service, social and academic clubs; intercollegiate athletics; musical-performance groups; social sororities and fraternities; intramural sports; theatre; concerts, lectures and convocations.  And, of course, it includes the eternal campus activity for all college students: dining services , in the residence halls, in the student center , wherever and whenever students gather.
