I am Christopher Hogan, a 21-year old senior Public Administration major from Dayton, OH. In addition to serving as your Student Government President/Student Regent, I have also served the University in the capacity of 1st Vice President, Sophomore, and Freshman class President as well as a resident assistant. I am currently employed at Farmer Bank & Capital Trust Co. as a teller. After graduation, I plan to purse my Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or go to Law school. I encourage ALL STUDENTS to excel academically and to get involved in extra curricular activities.

Marc is a 22 year- old Senior Criminal Justice Major from Detroit, Michigan. The First Vice President of the Executive Board assumes the role of president in his absence and is chair of the Senate along with other duties that may come along with Student Government. During his tenure as First Vice President, Marc’s main goal is to make SGA more approachable and focus more on the students, “My mission is to bring that family atmosphere back to this great institution, which is essential for an HBCU to thrive at its full potential”. In his collegiate career Marc participates in various groups and activities on campus but decided not to have them mentioned in his Biography stating “anyone can list all their great accolades and accomplishment but its what your doing now to make an impact in someone else’s life that matters, I’ll let my actions speak for me”. Marc encourages students to get involved and get everything out of their college experience possible, “Its worth it, this is your institution, make it work for you because you’ll never get another experience like it”

David Williams is a 22 year-old senior criminal justice major from Detroit, Michigan. He exhibits a calm and collected attitude and is ready and willing to meet a challenge head on. During his tenure at this institution he has become involved in several extra circular activities and prides himself on his innate ability to create balance in his life no matter the circumstance. He is also dual sport athlete participating in both football and track and field and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

Tanina Seagraves is a 20 year-old senior from Columbus, Ohio. She is a Liberal Studies major with a minor in English, and a student in the Whitney Young Honors Program. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school to pursue a degree in law or English education. In addition to serving as your Student Government Secretary, Tanina has previously been an active member of the SGA Senate and the Office of Residence Life as a Resident Assistant and Desk Assistant. She is excited to serve her Kentucky State Family and hopes this year will bring out the “good ol’ Thorobred Spirit” in everyone.

I am a 20 year-old junior majoring in Biology, from Dayton, OH. After graduating from Kentucky State University, I plan to pursue a master's degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Prior to serving as Treasurer, I have been active with the mighty Thorobreds football team, made the Deans List, Class Senator, Mr. Sophomore, Resident Assistant, and a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity inc. I would like to challenge the students to take advantage of their collegiate career for it will be the only one they'll have.

Ciara N. Pierce, is a senior Political Science major with a minor in Liberal Studies. She hails from the wonderful city of Columbus, OH. In her three years at Kentucky State University she has served as Student Government Association Senator and Miss Whitney Young. She was a member of the Pre-Law Club and the Behavioral and Social Sciences club. Ciara enjoys reading, learning new things and spending time with her loved ones. After graduation she plans to attend law school to become a civil rights attorney.

Jeremy is a 20-year old junior Public Administration major with a minor in Political Science, from Flint, MI. In addition to serving as Student Government Chief of Staff he currently serves as a resident assistant, in the Whitney M. Young Jr. residence hall, and previously served as Freshman and Sophomore class presidents since, arriving here at Kentucky State University. After graduation Jeremy plans to pursue a Masters degree in post secondary education. K.S.U. is one of the elite Universities of our time, opportunity is no stranger of K.S.U. at all we encourage all students to get involved with campus life, and remember your experience is what you make of it.

Kristen Trotter is a 22 year-old native of Columbus, OH with a major in Vocal Performance. Kristen currently serves as Miss KSU for the 2007-2008 academic school- year. She has been an active member of the award winning Concert Choir and a part of Gospel Ensemble. In addition, Kristen served as a past resident assistant and was the president of CMENC. She was a former Miss Black and Gold for the 2006-2007 school year and won 1st runner up at Districts. Upon graduation Kristen plans to pursue a master’s degree in music education and continue with her passion in performing.

Troy L. Culbreth is a 22 - old native of Cincinnati, Ohio with a major in Music Education specializing in voice. Troy plans on furthering his education with a master’s in vocal performance. In addition of being your Mr. Kentucky State University, Troy has served in Student Government Association as Mr. Freshman, he is the student director and a member of the award winning Concert Choir, serves as a leader in Gospel Ensemble, and is also a member of the prestigious Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. Troy represents all the student body at all required activities, upholding the integrity, and pride at all prospective events. His services extend to performing community service events and assisting the University recruitment team.
