Students begin moving in as early as 6:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

The KSU Football Team forms the Gridiron Moving Co. each year to assist its classmates in moving into the residence halls.
The football players help move large items, such as refrigerators and totes, that families were worried about carrying themselves.

With the football players' assistance, many students only had to make one or two trips to their vehicles.
Move-In Day allows students to settle into their rooms and register for classes a few days before classes begin.

During slow times, students have many football players at their disposal. The rush came at the beginning of the day, near lunch and toward the late afternoon.
Though the football players get quite a workout moving items up and down stairs, they headed off to practice at 2 p.m.

Once in their rooms, students begin to rearrange furniture and put away their belongings.
They also realize some of the things they forgot to bring, such as longer sheets, trash cans and cleaning supplies.
