AWA staff directs new students where to go as they arrive at the residence hall.

Many students arrive with vans, trailers and trucks packed with items. AWA and Residence Life staff assisted families in moving into their rooms.
Once the students arrive, they must obtain their Thorobred Cards and residence hall access and ensure their registration for classes is complete.

The Thorobred Card, which is a student ID card, is the student's room key and meal card. It also can be loaded with money for laundry, printing and other campus purchases.
Students pose for their Thorobred Card picture. Most students wear it on a lanyard, because if they lose their card, they must pay to replace it.

An AWA staff member gives one father directions to The Halls. Many families opted to drop off their stuff, register and then go back to set up the student's room.
Students make their way to the front door of The Halls. Though it had rained earlier that morning, the weather held out for families moving in June 19.

Upon arrival to The Halls, students get their room assignments and have their Thorobred Cards activated for door and wing access.
For many students, moving in was not difficult. It was deciding where to store all of their belongings.
