Human Nutrition

Mission

To conduct basic and applied research in human nutrition and health to benefit the people of Kentucky and the nation, especially at risk populations such as minorities, the elderly, and children.  The program provides research training opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students, and to interested high schools students. Program staff serve as a resource for nutrition and health expertise for the surrounding community. The program supports the University and the Land Grant Program mission through public service and by obtaining external grants.
