The Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Hunt Butler, and provides opportunities for the performance, composition, and study of jazz.   Repertoire consists of standard jazz literature and contemporary styles to provide a challenging ensemble experience as well as an opportunity for student musicians to develop improvisational skills.  The ensemble performs on campus and throughout the region.
