Head Coach

Von Smith is a Dayton, Ohio native who has a wealth of experience in track and field.  He graduated from Knoxville College in 1997, and served as assistant track coach at the University of Missouri Kansas City, Western Michigan University and Knoxville College prior to coming to KSU.  He has coached athletes who competed in the Olympics, World Championships, and Junior Nationals during his career.
