KSU’s All-American Defensive back and return specialist Marcus Wright had three kickoff returns for 83 yards in the Cactus Bowl on Friday, January 6. Wright was a member of the East Squad who lost to the West 49-28. The Sixth Annual Cactus Bowl is an All-Star Bowl Game that features the top players in Division II football. This year’s game was held at Javelina Stadium in Kingville, Texas. Former KSU stand out Seneca Gray also played in the Cactus Bowl in 2001. He went on to play for the New England Patriots.
