KENTUCKY STATE ARMY ROTC PROGRAM

MILITARY SCIENCE AND LEADERSHIP

(Army Officer Commissioning)

The Army Reserve Officers’ Training program at the University of Kentucky is open to both men and women and follows a general military science curriculum that is normally completed in four years but which may be completed in two years. An academic major in military science is not offered. The program’s primary objective is to commission the future leadership of the line branches of the Active Army, Army National Guard, and U.S. Army Reserve.

KENTUCKY STATE AIR FORCE ROTC PROGRAM
 

(US Air Force Officer Commissioning)

The US Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training program at the University of Kentucky is open to both men and women and follows a leadership, communication, and global security studies curriculum that is normally completed in 4 years but which may be completed in 2 1/2 years. The program’s primary objective is to commission the future leadership of the US Air Force. Scholarships are available that cover full tuition cost, money for books and a monthly stipend for other costs. The total value of the scholarship is typically over $100,000.
