KSU welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with international scholars and faculty.
Visiting ScholarsToday KSU is in the process of increasing its international capacity. Unfortunately, at the present time (Summer 2010) KSU is not designated as a
J visa program sponsor. This means we cannot initiate a visa for a scholar to come and visit KSU. (However, we do have authorization to invite students, and do sponsor non-resident employees.)
This does not mean a scholar cannot visit KSU, but it does mean that it may be more difficult. KSU is applying to be a J Visa program sponsor and, hopefully, will soon be able to initiate a visa for such visitors. In the meantime, if you are interested in visiting, we either need to have you come as part of a program such as Fulbright, or have someone else sponsor your visit. Contact
Dr. Menking with questions.
International KSU FacultyIf you are a new or existing faculty member who holds a non-U.S. passport, KSU's Human Resource Director,
Mr. Gary Meiseles. However, if you don't already know the people in OGEP, please come and get to know us. Our international faculty are an important part of internationalizing KSU, not to mention we may know of international opportunities for you.
Thank you for your interest in KSU.
