This page is for students coming to KSU from foreign universities that have exchange agreements with KSU.
Dear Exchange Student:
Welcome to Kentucky State! We are excited about hosting you at our university and will do everything we can to make your visit a wonderful one.
We believe exchange students are a special kind of student because you are coming here with the expectation that a KSU student goes to your university to take your place. While you are at KSU we hope you will make lots of friends and talk about your university and culture with KSU students. Maybe you can even help us find a student that will go to your university!
Before you come to study at KSU we will need to have you complete some paperwork to prepare your visa. The first thing we need to do is complete the KSU Application for Non-Degree Study.
Second, we need to have you complete the Financial Certificate for International Students.
Contact our office about the exact amounts you will be required to show as part of your Financial Certificate.
Once we get your Financial Certificate OGEP will isse your initial I-20, which you will take to your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consul for your appointment to get your F-1 student visa.
