Students in the Upward Bound program must maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average. Upward Bound will provide free tutoring to all UB students. It is mandatory that all Upward Bound students attend tutoring. If the student receives a GPA of 2.5 or above, the student is required to attend tutoring at least once a week. However, if the student receives a GPA below 2.5, they must attend tutoring twice a week.
Students can attend tutoring provided by the school or from another certified, established tutoring program. Students receiving tutoring from another program must provide documentation to the UB staff within two-three business days. Saturday tutoring labs are also available (please see UB calendar). |
