Dr. McFayden is a tenured professor and currently serves on the graduate faculty in the College of Professional Studies. His experience includes teaching in the political science departments at Morris Brown College, Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta Metropolitan College and Mississippi Valley State University. Dr. McFayden currently teaches budgeting, quantitative methods, research methods, economics, organization theory and human resource management. Dr. McFayden served as a research fellow at the Delta Research and Cultural Institute, worked as a democratic political consultant and served as an officer in the United States Army. Dr. McFayden has published numerous articles and his research interests include; American public policy, African American social, economic and political development, the U.S. Presidency and urban politics.
